Sheridan Hawks Junior Hockey Team Preparing For Playoffs Vs. Great Falls

For the 2nd time in 3 years, the Sheridan Hawks Junior Hockey Team is in the NA3HL Frontier Division playoffs.
The team will take on Great Falls in a best 2 out of 3 series.
Game 1 is Thursday (March 13th) in Sheridan, starting at 6:30pm.
Game 2 is Friday at Great Falls, starting at 7:05pm.
Game 3 if needed, would be Sunday in Sheridan starting at 1pm.
The Hawks and the Americans split all 8 head to head games this season and both teams were 2-2 vs. each other both home and away.
Sheridan Head Coach J.J. Santagata says both teams have been very similar to each other throughout the season and expects the opposition to have the same approach to the playoffs as the Hawks do.
“Probably during the regular season maybe they take a couple of shifts off, maybe they’re playing a little bit careless, maybe they’re not as urgent, so you’re going to expect a team that’s pretty hot right now. They’ve won 4 games straight. They’re going into the postseason on a hot streak and they’re an urgent team. They’re going to play with basically with their season on the line obviously, so every game matters right now, so you might not see a different team and players, but at the end of the day, I think we’re going to see a little more urgency out of them.”
The other first round matchup in the NA3HL Frontier Division playoffs is between Rapid City and Helena.
Game 1 is Wednesday in Rapid City.
Helena will host Game 2 on Friday, and will also host Game 3 on Saturday if needed.
