Wyoming Shrine Bowl Football Game 2024: The Sheridan Broncs were well represented in this year’s Wyoming Shrine Bowl Football game and it showed as the North dismantled the South 45-7.

Quarterback Dominick Berrettini was involved in 4 touchdowns.

He was 7 of 9 passing for 102 yards and threw 2 TD’s, plus he ran 14 times for 88 yards and had 2 more scores on the ground.

That made him thie offensive MVP of the game.

Dane Steel of Sheridan was also involved as he caught 10 passes for 133 yards and 2 scores.


Sheridan Troopers Legion Baseball: The Sheridan Troopers have been on a break from competition ever since they swept Cheyenne last week.

Now it’s time for them to get back to work as the team hosts a double-header tomorrow vs. Miles City, Montana starting at 5pm, and a single home game on Wednesday vs. Buffalo.

Those will be tune-up games, because the next big conference game is this Friday at Casper.

Pitcher Avon Barney says now that the Troopers have established some consistency, the team has to be able to maintain it.

Tomorrow the Troopers as well as sheridanmedia will be honoring long-time sportscaster Trevor Jackson in between games.

Again first pitch for tomorrow’s double-header is scheduled for 5pm.


Colorado Rockies Baseball: The Colorado Rockies ended up splitting a 4-game series at St. Louis.

The Rocks won on Thursday 3-2.

The Cardinals won on Friday 8-5.

On Saturday, Ezequiel Tovar had both a solo and a 2-run home run, to help Colorado win 6-5.

St. Louis won yesterday’s game 5-1.

The Rockies are now 23-42 on the season, and are 17 games out of first place in the NL West.

Today the team starts a 3-game series at Minnesota, starting at 5:40pm.


NBA Finals: Boston won Game 2 last night at home vs. Dallas 105-98 and now lead the best of 7 series, 2-0.

Game 3 is Wednesday at Dallas.


NHL Stanley Cup Finals: Florida won the first game at home vs. Edmonton 3-0 Saturday and lead the best of 7 series 1-0.

Game 2 is today starting at 6pm.
