They’re the some of the best in the state and now they’re trying to be the best in the USA.

Nine Sheridan High School Wrestlers (8 boys, 1 girl) are competing at the National High School Athletic Coaches Association (NHSACA) Folkstyle Wrestling National Championship Tournament, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, April 5-7, 2024.

Wrestlers must finish in the top 8 of their respective brackets to earn All-American status.

The boys compete against their own grade level (freshmen vs. freshmen, sophomores vs. sophomores, etc…), while grade level is irrelevant for the girls, because there’s not as many competitors.
