Sheridan County HS Wrestling: Tonight is the last night to check out the Sheridan High School boys and girls wrestling teams at home this season.
The Broncs and Lady Broncs will host a dual vs. Campbell County in their home finale.
The JV matches start at 5pm, senior introductions are at about 5:45, girls varsity starts at about 6 and the boys will follow.
Tongue River is also competing today at the 2A Northeast Conference Duals at Sundance.
Sheridan HS Basketball: The Sheridan girls team was missing a major piece of their offense this past weekend, when freshman Mesa Hanft came down with the flu and did not make the trip to Cheyenne East and Cheyenne Central.
As a result the Lady Broncs only put up 33 and 34 points respectively, which was way below their season average of 55.
Head Coach Ryan Sullivan says there were a number of other things that went wrong as well, but thankfully those 2 games were non-quadrant games and they can use this weekend’s games to put things back together.
The Sheridan boys and girls play tomorrow at home vs. Cheyenne South and on Saturday at home vs. Laramie.
Tongue River, Big Horn and Arvada-Clearmont HS Basketball: Tongue River plays their one and only game this week tomorrow at home vs. Wright.
Big Horn plays tomorrow at Sundance and on Saturday at home vs. Moorcroft.
Arvada-Clearmont plays at home tonight vs. Upton.
The girls game tips off at 6 and the boys game has been canceled due to illness within the team.
A-C is scheduled to play again tomorrow at Hulett.
Sheridan HS Nordic Ski: Sheridan is scheduled to race tomorrow and Saturday at Lander.
Sheridan County HS Indoor Track and Field: Sheridan and Big Horn will compete tomorrow at Gillette, while Tongue River will compete Saturday at Natrona.

He also caught 32 passes for 405 yards and made his way to the end zone 5 times.
Defensively, Hanft led Class 2A in both defensive points with 143, and in tackles with 75.
He had 8 1/2 tackles for a loss, 3 sacks, forced and recovered 1 fumble, broke up 2 passes, had 1 interception and scored one defensive touchdown.
The senior says he has already been to Chadron State a few times for football camps, so he’s familiar with the area and he also tries to explain what he thinks the football coaches saw in him.
Hanft adds he also had offers from Montana Tech and Dickinson State out of North Dakota.
He is considering majoring in ag business.
University of Wyoming Basketball: Last night the Wyoming Cowgirls scored 21 points off of 17 Utah State turnovers and scored 20 points off of 16 offensive rebounds, to cruise to a 62-47 win at home.

UW is now 14-8 on the season with a 9-2 record in the Mountain West Conference, which puts them in 2nd place.
Their next game is Saturday at Boise State.
The Wyoming Cowboys have this weekend off from competition and next play on Wednesday at home vs. Utah State.
Sheridan Hawks Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks continue their 7-game road trip tomorrow and Saturday at 1st place Helena.
