Tongue River Girls Basketball: After dropping their first 2 games of the season, the Tongue River Girls Basketball team have won 16 straight, including 3 this past weekend.

The Lady Eagles lead Class 2A in shooting percentage at almost 36%, and in defense allowing an average of 33 points per game.

They’re also the 2nd best 2A team in rebounding.

Sophomore Chaney Reish is currently in the top 10 in Class 2A in 7 different categories and says the team bonds well both on and off the court.

TR next plays Friday at home vs. Wright.


Sheridan HS Basketball: The Sheridan Broncs and Lady Broncs are back at home for 2 games this weekend.

Cheyenne South is in town on Friday, and Laramie will visit on Saturday.


Big Horn and Arvada-Clearmont HS Basketball: Big Horn plays at Sundance on Friday and are at home vs. Moorcroft on Saturday.

Arvada-Clearmont plays Thursday at home vs. Upton and on Friday at Hulett.


Sheridan County HS Wrestling: The Sheridan boys and girls will compete in their home finale this Thursday against Campbell County.

Senior recognition will take place at about 5:45pm, and the girls varsity will go at 6 and then the boys varsity will follow.

Tongue River will compete at the 2A Northeast Conference Duals at Sundance on Thursday.


Sheridan HS Boys Swimming: Sheridan has this week off from competition as they prepare for the state meet which is next week Thursday and Friday at Laramie.


Sheridan HS Nordic Ski: The Sheridan teams are scheduled to be in action this Friday and Saturday at Lander.


Sheridan County HS Indoor Track and Field: Sheridan and Big Horn will compete on Friday at Gillette, while Tongue River will be at Natrona on Saturday.


University of Wyoming Basketball: The Wyoming Cowboys will be on the court tonight at home vs. New Mexico.

Tip off is scheduled for 6:30pm and you can hear that game LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

The Wyoming Cowgirls play tomorrow at home vs. Utah State.


Colorado Avalanche Hockey: Last night the Colorado Avalanche were back in action for the first time in about 1 ½ weeks.

The team dropped a 2-1 overtime game at the New York Rangers and are back in action tonight at New Jersey as part of a 6-game East Conference road trip.


Sheridan Hawks Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks will be on the road this weekend against Helena, who is currently in first place in the division.

Sheridan is in 6th place with 8 games remaining, but are only 2 points behind in the chase for the final playoff spot.

Of those 8 remaining games, only 2 of them are at home and that isn’t until the final 2 games of the season on March 1st and 2nd.
