Sheridan HS Basketball: The Sheridan boys and girls basketball teams play at Cheyenne East today beginning at 6pm and at Cheyenne Central tomorrow beginning at 12-noon.
You can hear all the games LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.
Tongue River and Big Horn HS Basketball: Last night, Big Horn and Tongue River met in Round 2 of their inter-county rivalry.
TR would sweep the double-header.
The girls score was 57-37 and the boys score was 56-44.
For the boys, Eagle Senior Caleb Kilbride says losing to the Rams 3 weeks ago didn’t sit too well with the team and explains what went wrong and how they fixed it.
TR is back in action today at home vs. Rocky Mountain beginning at 5:30pm.
The Eagles and Lady Eagles also play tomorrow at Sundance beginning at 3pm.
Big Horn plays at home tomorrow vs. Riverside beginning at 12:30pm.
Arvada-Clearmont HS Basketball: Arvada-Clearmont plays 2 tomorrow at Midwest starting at 1:30pm.
Sheridan County HS Wrestling: The Sheridan boys dominated their home meet vs. Natrona winning 58-6, winning 9 of 11 matches, with 4 of those 9 via pin.
The Natrona girls had to cancel their travel plans, but Worland was able to fill the void at the last minute and made the trip.
The Lady Broncs ended up winning 6 of the 7 matches.
Both the boys and girls are back in action today as they take on Cheyenne East and Cheyenne Central at home.
Boys and girls will compete simultaneously.
The JV matches will go first beginning at 3 and 5pm respectively and then the varsity matches will follow.
Tomorrow, there are 2 more duals as Sheridan will host Cheyenne South and Laramie.
Start times are at 9 and 11am respectively.
Tongue River will compete today at Lovell vs. both the Bulldogs and Moorcroft.
Tomorrow the Eagles and Lady Eagles will compete at a tournament in Greybull.
Sheridan HS Boys Swimming: Sheridan will compete today and tomorrow at the 4A East Conference Meet at Gillette.
The state meet is 2 weeks away.
Sheridan County Indoor Track and Field: Sheridan, Tongue River and Big Horn all compete today at a meet in Gillette.
University of Wyoming Basketball: The Wyoming Cowboys play tomorrow at UNLV.
Tip off is scheduled for 6pm and you can hear that game LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.
The Wyoming Cowgirls are at home tomorrow vs. Nevada, beginning at 2pm.
That game can be heard LIVE on FOX Sports 106.3 FM.
Sheridan Hawks Hockey: Tonight will be your only night this month to see the Sheridan Hawks play.
The team hosts Gillette beginning at 7:30pm, and then they play at Gillette tomorrow.
Last week, the Hawks picked up 3 out of a possible 4 points in the standings and currently sit in 5th place in their division.
Only the top 4 teams at the end of the regular season make the playoffs and Sheridan is only 2 points behind Great Falls.
When you look at the schedule, the Hawks play Gillette this weekend, Helena next weekend, and then Gillette again the weekend after.
Long story short, the next 6 games including tonight are against the top 2 teams in the league, but Coach JJ Santagata says Sheridan isn’t going to buy into the hype, instead the team is just going to go play the game.
After tonight the Hawks won’t be back home again until their regular season finale on March 1st and 2nd.
