Sheridan HS Basketball: The schedule for the Sheridan High School Basketball teams is about to get a lot more interesting.

This weekend and next weekend, the Broncs, Lady Broncs and all the teams in the 4A Northeast Quadrant, will take on the teams out of the 4A Southeast Quadrant.

It starts with a road trip to Cheyenne as Sheridan will play at Cheyenne East on Friday beginning at 6pm.

After an overnight stay, it’s on to Cheyenne Central on Saturday beginning at 12-noon.

Both the Broncs and Lady Broncs return home next weekend to play Cheyenne South and Laramie.


Big Horn HS Basketball: Thursday is Round 2 between Big Horn and Tongue River, which is scheduled to begin at 6:30pm in Dayton.

For the past few years, things have not been going smooth for the BH girls and it’s been 5 years since they last played in the state tournament.

This past Friday, the Lady Rams feasted off of turnovers to defeat Wright, and Coach Mike Daley says it was a small step in the right direction.

Big Horn plays at home vs. Riverside on Saturday.


Tongue River HS Basketball: Tongue River has a busy weekend ahead of them.

They host BH Thursday, host Rocky Mountain on Friday and then travel to Sundance on Saturday.


Arvada-Clearmont HS Basketball: Arvada-Clearmont plays a home game today vs. the Sheridan Sophomore team.

The girls game tips off at 4:30pm and the boys game will follow.

A-C also plays on Saturday at Midwest.


Sheridan County HS Wrestling: Sheridan gets to enjoy the comforts of home both this week and next.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs host dual meets for the remainder of the regular season and the action starts Thursday vs. Natrona.

On Friday, Cheyenne East and Cheyenne Central are in town, and on Saturday, Cheyenne South and Laramie visit.

Tongue River will travel to Lovell on Friday to participate in a 3-way dual against Lovell and Shoshoni.

On Saturday, the Eagles will compete at a tournament in Greybull.


Sheridan HS Boys Swimming: Sheridan will compete in the 4A East Conference meet this Friday and Saturday at Gillette.


Sheridan HS Nordic Ski: The Sheridan Nordic Ski teams are scheduled to compete this weekend at Cody.


Sheridan County HS Indoor Track and Field: All 3 Sheridan County teams are scheduled to compete at Gillette on Friday.


University of Wyoming Basketball: The University of Wyoming Cowboys are back on the court tonight at Air Force.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm and you can hear the game LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9FM.

The Wyoming Cowgirls play at UNLV tomorrow in what will be a first place battle in the Mountain West Conference.


Denver Nuggets Basketball: The Denver Nuggets won last night at home vs. Milwaukee 113-107.

The team next plays on Wednesday at Oklahoma City.


Sheridan Hawks Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks play their one and only home game in the month of February this Friday, as part of a home and home series against Gillette.

The team will be on the road for Saturday’s game, which is the start of a 7-game road trip.

The Hawks are 2-points behind in the standings in the chase for the final playoff spot.

Only the top 4 teams at the end of the regular season advance to the postseason, and Sheridan is currently in 5th place with 10 games to go.
