Colorado Rockie Todd Helton To Be Inducted Into MLB Hall of Fame: We are less than 1 month away from the start of the exhibition season.

Yesterday, the big news came out of Cooperstown and for only the 2nd time in team history, the Hall has called for a Colorado Rockie.

Todd Helton, aka the Toddfather, made his debut in 1997 and spent his entire 17-year career at 1st base with the Rockies.

He finished his career with more than 25-hundred hits, including 369 home runs.

Along the way, he was named an all-star 5 times, won 4 silver slugger awards and 3 golden gloves.

In August of 2010, he did a weekend rehab stint with the Casper Ghosts.

The only other Colorado Rockie in the MLB Hall of Fame is Larry Walker, who was inducted in 2020.

Helton will be officially inducted on July 21st.
