Sheridan Girls Basketball Prep For Rematch At Kelly Walsh: Last week the Sheridan High School Girls Basketball Team had a close call against Kelly Walsh, and managed to win by 4 points.

The 2 teams rematch tomorrow in Casper.

Lady Bronc Head Coach Ryan Sullivan says despite getting the W and going 3-0 on the weekend, not everything went smoothly in that game against the Lady Trojans.

The Sheridan girls and Kelly Walsh tip off at 4:30pm tomorrow, and the boys game will follow.

You can hear both of those games LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.


Big Horn and Tongue River HS Basketball: The Big Horn boys and girls basketball teams also play tomorrow as they host Shoshoni beginning at 4pm.

Tongue River will travel to Shoshoni on Friday.

Then on Saturday it’s Round 1 between the Eagles and Rams at BH beginning at 2:30pm.

Arvada-Clearmont HS Basketball: The Arvada-Clearmont basketball teams will be back in action this weekend at the Little 6 Invitational at Dubois.

The Panthers and Lady Panthers play Ten Sleep at 2 and 3:30pm, as well as the host team at 5 and 6:30pm.

On Saturday, A-C will take on Meeteetse at 12:30 and 2pm before heading home.


Sheridan and Tongue River HS Wrestling: The Sheridan boys and girls will compete at the Kelly Walsh Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

Tongue River will be at the Newcastle Invitational.


Sheridan HS Boys Swimming: Sheridan will be at Laramie on Friday to compete in a dual vs. the Plainsmen, and then on Saturday they’ll swim at the Cheyenne Invitational at Cheyenne East.


Indoor Track and Field Season Starts This Week: Sheridan and Big Horn will race Saturday at Gillette, while Tongue River will run at Natrona.


University Of Wyoming Basketball: Last night the Wyoming Cowboys were able to hang around for the first 20 minutes at Utah State.

However, a basketball game is 40 minutes long.

The Cowboys were only down 35-33 at halftime, but only got 6 shots to drop in the second half, whereas the opposition made 20, and that resulted in a final score of 83-59 with the brown and gold on the wrong side of the scoreboard.

Mason Walters led the Pokes with 17 points, while Akuel Kot put in 14.

Wyoming’s next game is this coming Saturday at home vs. Fresno State.

Tip-off is scheduled for 2pm.

Meanwhile, the Wyoming Cowgirls play at home today vs. San Diego State.

Tip off is at 6:30pm and you can hear that game LIVE on Fox Sports 106.3 FM.

UW is currently 3-0 in Mountain West Conference play.


Retired UW Coach Craig Bohl Named ED of AFCA: Recently retired UW Coach Craig Bohl will continue to be involved in college football to some degree.

He will be stepping into the role of executive director of the American Football Coaches Association after being voted into the position by the Association’s Board of Trustees.

Bohls’ association with the AFCA started in 1983 when he became a member.

He was named to the Board of Trustees in 2012, and served as president of the association in 2022.

Bohl also served on the 13-member NCAA Division 1 Football Competition Committee in January 2017 and the NCAA Division 1 Football Oversight Committee.


Sheridan Hawks Junior Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks are back at home for the first time in more than 1 month, as they host Rapid City this coming Friday and Saturday.

The puck drops at 7:30pm both nights.

Sheridan is currently in 5th place in their division and are 4 points behind in the standings for a playoff spot with 16 games remaining.

Rapid City is currently in a tie for 6th place and are only 2 points behind the Hawks.
