Sheridan HS Boys Basketball: The Sheridan High School Broncs and Lady Broncs basketball teams not only have a short week to prepare for one game, it will be against an opponent they have already played.
The boys and girls will play Thursday at Kelly Walsh, which is a team that both of them beat last week Friday in Cheyenne.
Boys Coach Jeff Martini says after a 2-week break with no competition, he wasn’t fully sure how the team was going to show up for 3 games in 3 days in Cheyenne, but they did and they look better than ever so far.
Although the Broncs beat the Trojans by 16 points last week, Martini says he expects an improved KW team the second time around, and that means Sheridan needs to do better as well.
Thursday’s games are scheduled to tip off at 4:30 and 6pm.
You can hear both of those games LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.
The reason the game is being played on Thursday is because Kelly Walsh is hosting a wrestling meet on Friday and Saturday.
