Sheridan HS Basketball: The Sheridan High School boys and girls basketball teams were back on the court yesterday and picked up where they left off after a 2-week break.
Playing in Cheyenne, the Broncs beat Green River 65-51, and the Lady Broncs also beat GR 60-33.
Both teams are back in action this afternoon vs. Kelly Walsh and those games will be played at Cheyenne East.
The girls game is scheduled to tip off at 3pm and the boys game will follow.
You can hear the games LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.
Tomorrow, Sheridan plays Evanston starting at 12-noon.

Nordic Ski: The Sheridan High School Nordic Ski teams will compete today and tomorrow on Casper Mountain.
University of Wyoming Basketball: The Wyoming Cowboys resume Mountain West Conference play tomorrow at New Mexico.
Tip off is scheduled for 8pm and you can hear that game LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.
The Wyoming Cowgirls also play on Saturday at Air Force.
Tip off is scheduled for 1pm and that game can be heard on FOX Sports 106.3 FM.
Denver Broncos Football: The Denver Broncos will conclude their season Sunday at Las Vegas against the Raiders.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2:25pm.
Even if the Broncos win, there’s no way that the team can make the playoffs.
Indianapolis, Houston and Pittsburgh are in a 3-way tie for the final wild card spot in the AFC, and Denver is 1 game back of all 3 of them.
The problem is, Houston and Indy play each other, meaning the Broncos can’t catch up to both of them, and a tie game between the Texans and Colts does no good either.
Denver’s game against the Raiders will be a battle for 2nd and 3rd place in the AFC West, which will have an effect on scheduling for next season.
Denver Nuggets Basketball: Last night the Denver Nuggets were down by 18 points, midway through the 4th quarter at Golden State and closed out the game on a 25-4 run, including a 40-foot buzzer beater by Nikola Jokic to win 130-127.
The Nuggets are back in action tonight at home vs. Orlando and again Sunday at home vs. Detroit.
Colorado Avalanche Hockey: The Colorado Avalanche won their 2nd straight overtime game last night at Dallas 5-4.
It’s their 4th straight win overall and their 6th win in the last 7 games.
The Avs’ next game is tomorrow at home vs. Florida.
Sheridan Hawks Junior Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks are back in action tonight and tomorrow night at Cody.
Sheridan is currently 11-18 on the season and before the break, they had picked up some momentum, having won each of their previous 3 games and 7 of the last 9.
Head Coach J.J. Santagata says the season did not get off to a great start, but in the league they’re in, that can sometimes be expected.
The bigger picture is what’s going on now, and so far, the Hawks have been turning things around.
Sheridan’s opponent, the Yellowstone Quake, is still searching for the first win of the season after 29 tries.
The Hawks will be back at home next weekend vs. Rapid City.
