Defending champ Big Horn as well as Tongue River will head to Casper to play in the 2022 State Tournament!
Sheridan: At the 4A East Regional Tournament in Cheyenne, the Lady Broncs lost in the first round vs. Laramie 3-0 (25-22, 25-13, 25-15), then lost in the consolation round vs. Cheyenne Central 3-1 (18-25, 25-19, 25-17, 25-21).
Sheridan finishes the 2022 season with a record of 8-23.
Big Horn: At the 2A East Regional Tournament at Burns, the Lady Rams won in the first round vs. Lusk 3-0 (25-11, 25-13, 25-13), then defeated Lingle-Ft. Laramie in the semi-finals 3-0 (25-21, 25-14, 25-14).
BH then beat the host team, Burns in the regional championship game 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-11).
Big Horn is 28-8 on the season and will play Kemmerer in the first round of the 2A State Tournament on Thursday, November 3rd at 7:30pm in Casper.
Tongue River: At the 2A East Regional Tournament at Buns, the Lady Eagles lost in the first round vs. Burns 3-1 (25-16, 22-25, 25-16, 25-19).
That put TR in the consolation round where they defeated Pine Bluffs 3-1 (25-17, 25-15, 20-25, 28-26), and Lingle-Ft. Laramie 3-0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-23) to qualify for the state tournament.
Tongue River lost in the Regional 3rd Place game vs. Wright 3-1 (20-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-20).
The Lady Eagles are 14-17-2 on the season and will play Rocky Mountain in the first round of the 2A State Tournament on Thursday, November 3rd at 3pm in Casper.
Arvada-Clearmont: The Lady Panthers first had to beat Midwest in a play-in game to qualify for the 1A East Regional Tournament, and they were victorious 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-19).
In the tournament at Southeast, A-C lost in the first round against the host team 3-0 (25-4, 25-7, 25-14).
The loss put Arvada-Clearmont in the consolation round where they defeated Guernsey-Sunrise 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-16), but then lost to Rock River 3-0 (25-12, 25-9, 25-12).
The Lady Panthers finish the season with a record of 9-16-1.
