Jerry Pryor

Jerry Owen Pryor passed away November 29, 2019, at 9 PM at the Amie Holt Nursing Home in Buffalo WY.  Jerry was born on February 8, 1931 in Sheridan, WY. He lived most of his life in the Sheridan and Buffalo area.  He served in both the Navy and Army, and was a Veteran of the Korean War. 

Jerry was a Wyoming Cowboy. Leader of a country western band as a lead singer and guitar player, and proficient in playing many other stringed instruments. He worked on many ranches in the area. He loved riding on his tractor, putting up hay, working with horses, and hunting. Most of all, he loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his father John, mother Thelma, step-mom Mable, brother Johnny, sister Ethyl, daughter Sheila, and sons Ed and Brian.

He is survived by his loving wife Hudie, sons Jerry and Gary, daughters Donna and Amber, 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. 

His outlook of life, his humor, and his love will be truely missed.
