BHNF Offices Now Open to the Public

Aaron PalmerThe lobbies of the three Bighorn National Forest offices in Sheridan, Buffalo, and Greybull are now open to the public.
In a release, the BHNF said although they are open, they are asking that only one small group at a time be present to allow space between groups.
They also ask the public to consider calling ahead for them to better help the public’s needs.
Sara Evans Kirol, Public Affairs Officer with the Bighorn National Forest, explains why the offices closed and what they have experienced since opening back up Monday.
Kirol said indications are it will be a busy summer on the Bighorn National Forest.
The Powder River Ranger District in Buffalo, Medicine Wheel Ranger District in Greybull, and the Forest Supervisor’s Office and Tongue Ranger District can all be reached at the numbers listed below.
Office hours for the ranger districts are 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday, but are closed for federal holidays.
