Get ahead and register for Spring Soccer at the Y

Sheridan County YMCA Executive Director Liz Cassiday appeared on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to remind parents that even though the snow may still be blowing, it’s time to start thinking about Spring Soccer.
Soccer gives kids the opportunity to get outside and run along with teammates building strong team-building principles. Soccer promotes physical activity and builds strong cardiovascular health. The activity also promotes social engagement. Being a member of a team can form lifelong friendships.

Thanks to the generosity of residents giving to the Give your Heart to a Child campaign, money is not a problem for those who may not be able to cover the registration costs for any YMCA kids sporting activity. The YMCA has the ability to grant confidential scholarships to kids that will pay for registrations.
