Sheridan Man Arraigned for Endangering Children and Methamphetamine Possession

Ron RichterOn April 30, 40-year-old Joseph Stencel was arrested by law enforcement and charged with Felony Endangering Children for knowingly being in possession of methamphetamine with children present in his home. Stencel was also charged with Misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine. Stencel, at an arraignment hearing Thursday in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan, pleaded “not guilty” to both of the charges.
District Court Judge John Fenn scheduled a three-day jury trial for November 15 and set the date for the pretrial conference for October 12 at 9 am. If convicted on both counts, Stencel faces up to 6 years in prison and fines of up to $6,000.
