Feghali Changes Plea in District Court

Ron RichterA change of plea hearing was held Thursday in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan for 31-year-old Tanios Feghali, who is charged with one count of Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance- Marijuana, and one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver- Marijuana. Feghali was arrested last fall for the crimes that occurred on October 15 in Sheridan County.
The change of plea was made pursuant to a plea agreement that was reached with the State that recommends 2 to 4 years in prison for the delivery charge, suspended, in lieu of three years of supervised probation. The possession with intent to deliver charge was dismissed as part of the plea deal. District Court Judge John Fenn ordered that a presentence investigation be completed and scheduled the sentencing date for May 18 at 9:45 am.
