The Sheridan Police Department will soon be equipped with 35 new Motorola portable radios. Sheridan Police Chief Travis Koltiska says that the new radios will replace the current Motorola radios that the department has been using for the past two decades.
Chief Koltiska said the purchase is a budgeted item through the Police Department budget. The staff recommendation to award the bid to ComTech of Casper in the amount of $149,933 will be considered by the City Council at an upcoming meeting.
