After a spike in positive COVID-19 cases last week, there has been a significant drop in cases this week, according to Johnson County Public Health Emergency Response Coordinator Robin King.

At the weekly Emergency Operations Center briefing Tuesday, King reported that there are currently three active cases in the county.

As of Monday, there have been 1,484 first doses and 678 second doses given in the county.

King touched on topics from a release sent out by the EOC Monday, including explaining a jump in the numbers of positive case in Johnson County.

Johnson County has now moved into the 1c Priority list for vaccinations, and a full list of all the phases can be found on the link provided here:

Public Health is still recommending using face coverings and social distancing at this time, even though variances to the public health orders have been granted in Johnson County, due to COVID still being present and active in the population.
