School Board Approves Employment Recommendations

At this month’s regular meeting, the Board of Trustees for Johnson County School District #1 considered and approved the district’s employment recommendations as presented to them.

Approved were the resignation of Morgan Kremers as assistant volleyball coach at Clear Creek Middle School, effective immediately.

The retirement of a number of teachers from various schools in the district were also approved for John Hepp, Ron Chapin, Clark Chesbro, and Shelley Armstrong that will take effect at the end of the 2020-2021 school year.

A salary advancement for Aaron Mines was also approved, moving from a BA+30 to MA.

Retiring from the district at the end of this school year are:

John Hepp, PE and Driver’s Ed at Buffalo High School; Ron Chapin, PE at Clear Creek Middle School; Clark Chesbro, Industrial Arts at Buffalo High School; and

Shelley Armstrong, Special Ed at Cloud Peak Elementary School.
