Six board members from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming (BGCCW), including two from Buffalo, were honored at their annual meeting Tuesday in Casper.

Jack Tarter and Ben Kirven, both of Buffalo, along with four others, received the National Service to Youth Award from the Boys & Girls Club of America.

Ashley Bright, CEO of the BGCCW, said,”these community leaders selflessly give of their time and resources to make a difference for the youth of Wyoming. Their passion for the mission of the organization is evident in everything they do, especially this past year with the challenges it brought for families and children. They are shining examples of impact, influence and inspiration, not only for the Club, but for the state of Wyoming.”

The 51st Annual Meeting of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming is the Board’s opportunity to review the past fiscal year through year-end reports, install new officers, and launch the strategic plan for the new fiscal year.
