Adult Care Facility Searching for Social Worker

The Amie Holt Care Center will be losing their long-time social worker and are in the process of searching for her replacement.

CEO Sean McCallister updated the Hospital Board of Trustees during their Wednesday evening meeting, saying Rhiannon Fowler has given her resignation for the position.

A resident in the care center will be transferred to a different facility, so the current census numbers are 37 residents.

McCallister said there are five new residents that are expected to join the facility in October, which will bring the resident numbers up to 42.

The care center is still keeping two rooms as isolation rooms in case a COVID-19 case is found in the resident population.
