Fair Board: Johnson County Fair & Rodeo a ‘Go’

The Johnson County Fair Board recently announced that the annual fair and rodeo will go on as usual this year.

The fair and rodeo will run from Friday, July 24^th through Sunday, August 2^nd at the fairgrounds in Buffalo.

Highlights from this year include a “Kickoff Fair Concert” July 24^th featuring Chancey Williams & the Younger Brothers Band; the Lamb Feed and Sheep Lead on July 28^th; the Rodeo Parade and Junior Livestock Sale on August 1^st; and the rodeo to wrap up the week on August 1^st and 2^nd.

Rodeo entries close July 10^th, 4-H and FFA entries close on July 16^th, and open class online entries close July 25^th.

The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce is still accepting ideas for the theme for the annual Fair and Rodeo Parade through the end of day Tuesday.
