Rep. Connolly Recaps First Weeks of Legislative Session

State Representative Marilyn Connolly (R-HD40) talked with Sheridan Media, recapping the first couple of weeks of this year’s legislative session.

Connolly said there has been plenty of work done outside the budget in the House, as was expected.

She said there are 122 amendments to the budget bill in the House that they are working through this week.

The original plan was to approve Governor Mark Gordon’s budget, but that failed in the House, resulting in the amendments to the suggested budget.

Connolly said recalibration was also worked in the House last week, and we will have that and more in upcoming stories.
