Sheridan Commission OKs Draft of Comprehensive and Land Use Plan
The Sheridan County Commission considered approving the draft City/County Cooperative Agreement for the Joint Planning Area update to the Sheridan County Comprehensive Plan and Joint Land Use Plan.
County Planner Mark Reid explained further.
He added that the agreement is about 95% similar to the one from 2016 and follows that model.
Commissioner Christi Haswell explained what the agreement means.
According to discussion, the agreement will go back to the city, who will then send Requests for Qualifications to find a consultant, and then it will come back before the county commission for approval.
The county will be responsible for one-third of the costs if approved at that time.
