Sheridan County Commissioner Haswell to Serve as Chairman in 2026

At their regular Tuesday meeting, Sheridan County’s Commissioners voted in Commissioner Christi Haswell as the chairman for 2026.

Outgoing Commission Chairman Lonnie Wright, in a separate interview, said some on the board thought he should remain as chairman, but he felt it was time to step down and allow another the opportunity to serve in the office.

Haswell will serve as chairman during the 2026 calendar year.
