YMCA: kids camps are happening this summer

As the Sheridan County YMCA works through reopening phases to protect its patrons, finding ways to keep children’s summer camps a reality this year has provided a new challenge.  

But it was challenge the Sheridan County YMCA accepted and after Gov. Mark Gordon’s announcement May 27, of less restrictive guidelines, which took effect June 1, the YMCA has developed a strategy to allow summer camps to take place. 

While speaking on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan YMCA executive director Elisabeth Cassiday informed listeners camp might appear a little different this year, but are taking place.
