SEEDA Progressing On Phase II Of Sheridan High Tech Business Park

Now that the city of Sheridan owns the property for the next phase of its Hi-Tech Business Park, early plans are underway to decide what it’s going to look like.
Last year the city, by way of the Sheridan Economic and Education Development Authority (SEEDA), purchased the 45.29 acres of land near the current park, and designated it as Phase II.
SEEDA Administrator Robert Briggs says the Authority recently approved the design contract for the new business park, and is hopeful that it will be ready sometime this winter, and have the project put out for bid, not long after that.
He adds he hopes to have the infrastructure in by the end of next year’s construction season (around late October 2026), and things should develop faster than when development of Phase I was underway.
“Once that infrastructure is installed then in a very similar way, you’ll see businesses express interest. They’ll be a good match for what we’re trying to accomplish in the high tech business park and that property will continue to develop and SEEDA will recycle the economic development dollars and do it again.”
Briggs says he has spoken with some business representatives that have expressed interest in the new park, once it’s ready.
