Collective Arts Festival

The Bighorn Arts Collective Friday announced details of the second annual Collective Arts Festival. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

The Collective Arts Festival is scheduled to take place Saturday, August 9, from 12:30 to 6:30 pm at Whitney Commons in Sheridan.  The free, family-friendly festival will feature live music, hands-on arts activities, demonstrations, writing workshops, an artisan village and food trucks. Damn Tall Buildings, a Brooklyn-based trio that blends bluegrass, Americana and swing, has signed on as the headlining act.

The Collective Arts Festival is presented by the Bighorn Arts Collective, comprised of The Brinton Museum, Neltje Center for Excellence in Creativity and the Arts, SAGE Community Arts, Sheridan Public Arts Committee, Ucross Foundation, Whitney Center for the Arts at Sheridan College and the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center.
