Firefighters Contract Approved by City Council

Following a presentation by City of Sheridan Human Resources Director Heather Doke, the Sheridan City Council at their business meeting Monday night, unanimously approved a one-year contract with the International Association of Fire Fighters Local #276. Doke, during her presentation, highlighted some of the changes from the previous contract with the firefighters.

The Council approved first reading of an ordinance amending chapter nine of City Code pertaining to courts, fines and imprisonment. The Council also gave their approval of a resolution for the final plat of the Riverstone Park Phase Two Subdivision. We’ll have more from the City Council meeting in future stories.
