The Sheridan City Council, at a special meeting Thursday, approved a motion to approve a contract and authorize Mayor Roger Miller to execute the contract with Stuart McRae for the position of City Administrator. McRae was one of three finalists interviewed virtually by the Council and Mayor Miller late last month. According to the bio that was provided by the City of Sheridan, McRae is currently working as a pilot in Afghanistan for CACI International, a government support contractor.

Mayor Miller said that McRae will most likely be starting in early June.
