Jo Co Commission OK’s Letter on Lease for Federal Agencies

Johnson County’s Commissioners discussed a lease held by the US Forest Service on properties west of Buffalo housing both them and the Bureau of Land Management.

Commission Chairman Bill Novotny explained the issue with the lease.

After some discussion, the commission voted to allow the chairman to draft a letter to be sent to the Trump Administration and the Wyoming Congressional Delegation requesting the GSA to grant a delegation to the US Forest Service to pursue a new lease for the two Federal agencies.

According to the Cambridge Dictionary, GSA is an abbreviation for General Service Administration, an independent organization that manages buildings, products, transport, equipment, and other important services for the US Government.
