Jentel Artist Residency welcomes new cohort

Jentel is alerting the Sheridan community that it’s in like a lion, out like a lamb. This month’s Jentel Presents is sure to keep you on your toes just like March weather.
According to Jentel Artists Residency, this new cohort of residents comes from all across the country to take in the peace and serenity of the Wyoming environment. Jentel Presents provides the opportunity for these artists to share their visual artworks and writing with the Sheridan community. This event will take place beginning 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library Inner Circle in Sheridan. Feel free to bring your lunch, cookies will be provided. Jentel Presents is open to all who wish to join.
This month’s presenters include Natalie Adler, Brooklyn, NY; A fiction writer; Adler’s favorite place is a Greek island where striking miners won the 8-hour workday in 1917.
Marco Kaye, Maplewood, NJ; A fiction writer; Kaye loves obscure horror movies, wandering off the map in open-world video games, cooking up new flavors, and hiking with his family.
Izabela Tysver, Sinclair, WY; A mixed media artist; Tysver comes from Poland and has a PhD in molecular biology and genetics. She never thought art would become her life.
Rolando Diaz, Dallas, TX; A painter; Diaz was born in Havana but left at 8 years old and landed in Key West. Rolando enjoys the outdoors, traveling, movies, and concerts. In addition to his mixed media art, he is a guitarist and vocalist.
Sarah Morejohn, Oakland, CA; A multidisciplinary artist; Morejohn enjoys backpacking in the Sierra Nevada with her husband and friends. As a serious bookworm, she can be found in a bookstore or library.
Sammy Bennett, Brooklyn, NY; An interdisciplinary artist; Bennett is an easygoing, mostly optimistic ball of energy. People have described him as a mover and doer who gets things done.
