Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter Operations Manager Hannah Edwards and Dog Kennel Attendant Liz Lande made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to talk about the funds raised during the New Year’s Gala Fundraiser held by the Quintanas.

The force behind the gala, Julio and Katusha Quintana, headed under the big top and transformed their ballroom into a circus. Tickets were $175 per person, but sponsors stepped up and paid for the event and 100% of the ticket proceeds went directly to the Dog and Cat Shelter.

Guests were encouraged to dress in circus attire and dined on food provided by Judy Fuller while being entertained by not one but two bands; Jeanie Lee & The Reckoning and the nine piece band, The Soul Funk Collective.

According to Edwards, this year’s gala raised over $24,500 for the shelter.
