Sheridan Airport Seeks Funding Through FAA CARES Grant

Sheridan County Airport Manager John Stopka has been authorized as the signor and contact person for the county to act on a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Grant for the airport by the county commission.
There has been $10 billion in grants allocated by the federal government for airports under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to support U.S. Airports experiencing severe economic disruption caused by the COVID-19 public health emergency.
The funding will be distributed to airports to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis.
