Miss Sheridan’s Teen Molly Magera’s community service initiative has the goal of informing people about alternative learning and the skills gained through a different approach to education.

Magera said she intends to use the platform of Miss Sheridan’s Teen to address issues concerning mental health, learning disabilities, and skills that she has learned through an alternative school education.

Earning the title has allowed Magera the opportunity to work with nonprofits in the community. Much more than just a crown, the duties of a Miss Sheridan’s Teen involve setting a good example for girls and young women in the community and to speak out on issues. Magera said that example comes down to being true to one’s self.
