Sheridan County Approves Sheeley Hot Mix Plant CUP

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have approved a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for the Sheeley Hot Mix Plant.

County Planner Mark Reid gave details on the application at the commission’s recent meeting.

Reid said the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval with four conditions.

The commission asked questions of the operator, Mullinax, concerning traffic plans and dust control, which they answered to the satisfaction of the commissioners.

No comment was offered during the public hearing, and the commission voted to approve CU-24-002 with the four conditions as recommended.
