Story House Rezone and Settlement Agreement on City Council’s Agenda

The Sheridan Council will meet for their first regularly scheduled business meeting of June Monday night. Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger says one item of consideration will be third and final reading of an ordinance for the Story House Property Company rezone of 44.8 acres from B-2 to a Planned Unit Development.

The City Council will also be considering a settlement agreement with Karo Hamiliton in the amount of $250,000. Hamilton’s home was destroyed in February of this year during a Police standoff with an armed suspect.

Monday night’s City Council meeting will also be starting at an earlier time, as the regular business meetings on the first and third Monday of each month, will now begin at 5:30 pm. The meeting will take place in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall.
