On Friday, April 19, at 6 p.m. the next Museum at the Big Horns History Happy Hour will feature the town of Story.

Story was first platted by a horse trader named Marshall Wolfe. He wanted to give it his name but found that ‘Wolf’ had already been taken. He then named the town after Charles B. Story, a rancher who was instrumental in getting a post office established – the first wooden building in the town which up until then had been made up only of tent structures.

This is a free program which invites local experts to weigh in on a variety of historical topics, share insights, answer questions.
