GPET Funding Allocations Tabled

The Sheridan City Council met for their first regularly scheduled business meeting Monday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Due to a recent unforeseen emergency medical procedure, Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger was unable to be in attendance at the meeting. A motion to table the 20 funding requests from local agencies for General Purpose Excise Tax funds was made due to the Mayor’s absence. Mayor Pro Tem Terry Weitzel.

Sheridan Police Chief Travis Koltiska read a joint resolution from the Wyoming Legislature honoring the life and service of Sergeant Nevada Krinkee. Prior to reading the resolution, Chief Koltiska offered this statement.

Under old business, the City Council approved the application for a bar and grill liquor license for Wyoming Horse Racing, LLC, dba the Horse Palace and third and final reading of ordinance 2279, adoption of the 2023 National Electrical Code.
