JCHC Hospital Board Gets Operations Report

In her report to the hospital board, Johnson County Healthcare Center Director of Operations Anna Carlson said the facility’s IT Department will be making a trip to view MEDITECH, which is currently being used by the hospital in Havre, Montana.

According to forbes.com, “MEDITECH is a company that develops electronic health record (EHR) software to improve the quality of clinicians’ interactions with patients. Its goal is to improve physician satisfaction and enable healthcare providers to offer efficient services through instant access to patient records and insights.”

Carlson, in addition to reporting that the facility is looking at hiring a new manager for the dietary department, said the maintenance department is stable, with their two new hires doing really well in their positions.

Housekeeping/laundry is almost fully staffed, she said, with three openings currently and three solid prospective employees.
