City Council Holds Emergency Meeting

The Sheridan City Council held an emergency meeting Friday afternoon to discuss how to move forward with day-to-day City operations amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Interim City Administrator Mike Jackson said that pedestrian traffic at City Hall will cease Tuesday.
Jackson said that they are currently taking a look at the City’s recycling services.
Jackson said that despite a number of staff that are working from home, they are continuing to effectively provide all City services at this time. The Council, who participated in the emergency meeting via the Google Hangouts Meet platform, concluded that future Council meetings and study sessions will be conducted in a similar fashion, with opportunities for citizen participation at the meetings coming in the form of correspondence through the City Clerk’s office. I would like to speak at the meeting of the board. Meetings and groups approval for treatment are 20-30 people and when have stepped up and hand cleaners and rooms been disentfected and meeting start will be about unreasonable touching or contact. Also to speak to board as a private business owner and step we have taken against the virus. When is next board meeting I can be allowed to speak at.
