Sheridan College Director of Bands and Jazz Studies Dr. Eric Richards made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to talk about the upcoming performance, Holiday Swing 2023.
Holiday Swing will begin at 7 p.m. Friday Dec. 8, and 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9,in Kinnison Hall at the Whitney Center for the Arts.
Richards said the program will feature music from some of the best talent Sheridan has to offer, with special guest performances, local compositions and more to ignite the holiday spirit.

Richards said while arranging the extensive line-up or talent, he took inspiration from Christmas Specials he would view on television as he grew up. These specials offered a variety of music and performances for viewers.
Richards shared an excerpt of his composition that will be featured during the concert, A Yuletide Rhapsody – We Three Kings.

Sheridan College has also partnered with the Food Group of Sheridan. During the performances concert goers will have an opportunity to donate non-perishable groceries or funds at Kinnison Hall.
