The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee has scheduled this year’s Legislative Forum to take place Dec. 5.
Chamber Chief Executive Officer Dixie Johnson made the announcement of the forum during an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse.
According to Johnson, the Government Affairs Committee has invited the Sheridan Region legislative delegation to discuss the Cowboy States budgetary issues and listen to presentations beginning at 8 a.m. and going until 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, in the City Council Chambers in Sheridan City Hall.
Length of the discussions will vary on the number of presenters.
The forum offers an opportunity for businesses, organizations and individuals to bring topics before a panel of local state legislators prior to the upcoming Legislative Budget Session to begin Feb. 12, 2024.
