Longmire Days Requests Approved By Buffalo Council

Aaron PalmerRequests concerning the upcoming Longmire Days event in Buffalo this summer were discussed by the Buffalo City Council during their last regular meeting.
Jennifer McCormick, with the Longmire Foundation, asked for a street closure on Angus Street from Western Avenue to Burritt from 7 a.m. To 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 21 for the Longmire 5K Race; a street closure on Main Street from Fort Street to Angus from 2 to 10 p.m. for the Longmire Street Dance.
They requested an open container area on from Fort and Main to Angus and Main and S. Burritt and Angus to Lobban and from Burritt and W. Fetterman to Lobban, and from Main and Benteen to Lobban from 9 a.m. on Friday, July 21 through Sunday, July 23 at 6 p.m.
The council voted to approve the requests.
