Aaron PalmerThe Buffalo City Council has passed Ordinance No. 1412 on first reading, to annex the Big Horn Cooperative Marketing Association property, located on Highway 16 East, into the city.
The annexation application was recommended by the Planning & Zoning Commission this fall.
The Ordinance will require two more readings to be passed.
Also approved by the council was a request for water supply outside of the city limits, as explained by Building Inspector Terry Asay.
According to Asay, the water tap was part of the agreement with the landowner stemming from the city’s South Water Tank project.
