Krinkee Park Update

In August of 2024, the Sheridan City Council awarded the West 12th Street Realignment Project to Northern Underground, the lowest qualified base bid, in the amount of $206,388. Part of the project consists of the construction of Krinkee Park along northside of West 12th Street to honor the life of Sheridan Police Sergeant Nevada Krinkee. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer provided an update on the status of Krinkee Park at this week’s City Council study session.

Sheridan Police Chief Travis Koltiska also shared some news about an upcoming trip to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington D.C.

The dedication ceremony of Krinkee Park has yet to be set, but City officials are anticipating it to be sometime in early to mid June.
