January 6 Committee Subpoenas Trump

The House Committee that’s investigating the attack on the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021, voted unanimously Thursday to subpoena former President Donald Trump for relevant documents and testimony under oath in connection with the attack on the Capitol. Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-WY) is Vice-Chair of the January 6 Committee and delivered the following remarks prior to the committee’s vote on the resolution to subpoena Trump.
Cheney said other witnesses have also gone to enormous lengths to avoid testifying before the committee about their dealings with Trump.
Thursday’s hearing was the ninth public hearing held by the house committee investigating the January 6 attack on the Capitol.

It probably won’t do any good- even if he does testify, he’ll just take the 5th to every question, like he did when deposed in NY about his crooked business practices (although that’s going to come back to haunt him in the civil suit). But even if futile, it will provide some good entertainment as we watch him change his story ten times a day as to why he couldn’t answer the questions.

It really won’t matter…very shortly, the house and senate will be back in control by people with common sense. Nonsense like this will go away, and taxpayer dollars and time can then be spent on things that really matter.

Common sense – like Beirut ad nauseum, our the insanely inept Durham probe, our the fact that the pedophile protector from Wisconsin has already pledged to impeach Biden if they get the majority. And let us not forget that common sense did not exactly exude from the last admin- treat Covid with horse dewormer anyone? And of course, the election was stolen because cellphone pings.

Wow, it must take a lot of energy and time to be that dedicated to the losing democrats that you claim Ivermectin is only ‘Horse dewormer’. Do you not drink water since it works for horses as well as humans? Biden will not take the cognitive test Trump took because he will fail, he is unfit for office. Get a grip on reality.

Gas was 2.20,low crime, low inflation and America was free and not under threats by other countries or nuclear war! Thanks lizzard for doing that for us. All true American patriots care about the outcome of the Jan 6 hearing. Trump tried and failed to overthrow our Goverment. He needs to be held accountable and so do those who supported him.

I recall Trump saying only the mafia pleads the 5th. If you are innocent you should not have to plead the 5th.
