Native People Consider Sheridan ‘Home’

The Native American people that participate in the Sheridan WYO Rodeo, parade, and other activities consider Sheridan as another home, and enjoy all that the week offers.

That’s according to Leonard Bendz, who is the announcer for the pow wow and who also helped announce the rodeo parade on Friday.

Bendz spoke about himself, the pow wow, and the events during the WYO Rodeo.

He said the Native people have been participating in these events for decades, and it is a favorite place to be and to be a part of.

Bendz said the Sheridan WYO Rodeo events have been a part of the Native people for a long, long time.
