Third annual WyoGives, July 13

WyoGives is statewide 24-hour online fundraising event that is designed to bring the state together as one community to raise money and awareness for Wyoming’s nonprofits.

The platform can be found at WyoGives.org on July 13. For 24-hours, donations can be made to many of Wyoming’s nonprofits.

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Executive Director of SAGE Community Arts, Jill Benson, told listeners it’s easy and reliable.

According to Sheridan Community Land Trust Marketing Director Chris Vrba, last year – 3,804 donors combined to raise more than $2.3 million for 193 nonprofits across the Cowboy State. This year, approximately 250 nonprofits are participating.

According to WyoGives, in some cases, donations will be matched by a partner the nonprofit has recruited or by the WyoGives matching and challenge partners according to their parameters.

By visiting WyoGives.org on July 13, anyone can choose the nonprofits that speak to the causes they believe in and make a gift.
